About

What Agent Experience is

Agent Experience (AX) is the discipline of designing products so AI agents can discover, authenticate to, act on, and recover within them, alongside the humans they serve.

What this site is

A standalone reference for the system-facing layer of agent experience: the 25 principles that define what your product owes the machines that now use it. It is part of the uxuiprinciples ecosystem.

Two facings

System-facing AX (this site) covers how a product handles agents. Human-facing AX covers how people experience working alongside agents, and stays canonical on uxuiprinciples.com to preserve its citation equity and avoid duplicate content.

Citation standard

Each principle targets verifiable primary sources: published papers, specifications, or documented engineering studies. The standard is inherited from the uxuiprinciples research corpus. Principles in draft are still having their sources finalized.

Dogfooding

This site practices AX-SYS-01 and AX-SYS-02: it serves /llms.txt, a capability manifest, and a markdown twin of every principle, so agents can read it efficiently.
